Too Tired!

Sorry y’all.  We got back from the parks at 11:30 tonight.  Kendall is in meetings all day so this is a Mommy-doing-all-the-work kinda trip.  Therefore: too tired to blog about today.  Maybe tomorrow but I am not making any promises.

BTW, you will NEVER guess who rode “Tower of Terror”.

Disney World Day 1

Well, not actually there yet.  We are in Orlando at the hotel.  We have been to the pool which felt great after a long long day in the car.  The girls did great but they are tired and looking forward to tomorrow.  Since we do not have cable at home they are easily captivated by the hotel television.  This would be WHY we don’t have cable at home! :)

Back to School

Now I remember why it is that I like summertime.  While it’s nice to have some quiet time during the day I’m not sure the hubbub in the morning is worth it.  I rather enjoy sleeping in until the noise in the kitchen worries me enough to get up and check it out.  This morning was extra fun.  Belinda locked her keys and her backpack in her car at the high school and called in a panic.  So, everyone in the car to drop off Sierra, head to the high school, rescue the backpack and watch Kendall run it into the office in a monsoon-like downpour.  Disaster averted.  Then, back to Eagle Ridge to drop off Baylee and Mallory at 8:47 (school starts at 8:45).  Because of the storm we were not the only ones arriving late so no bothers.  After a one hour round trip I am ready for a nap, but it is not to be.  Bills to pay, and house to clean.  The things I managed to ignore last week so that we could just have fun but are now in a dire state.  Catching up on Lost, House, and Lie to Me will have to wait until after bedtime.  I hesistate to complain too much though.  Disneyworld in less than a week!

Riddikulus!

So, I re-read the Twilight series a couple of months ago and then moved on to Harry Potter again. I am almost through the 7th book and I have something to say. If I must have a crush on a fictional 17 year old boy, my heart belongs to Harry.

Now, on how many levels is this post disturbing? Not just because of my admission but because how many of you are now screaming at your computer at me that Edward is the sweetest, hottest, most romantic and otherwise perfect fictional 17 year old boy and have I lost my mind? Um, maybe collectively we all have. Now, go kiss your very real husband and tell him you love him. Put down the book first though or he won't believe you!
