Belinda

This was a great spot. We just went for a drive, and there it was. However, there were two really big dogs and a fence that kept us from getting close to the barn. I like that you can see the windmill from that distance but not that the barn is so far away. We decided that when it is warmer we will go and knock on the door of the farmhouse to see if we can get up close and personal with the barn. (not with the dogs though!)

Sierra

I had such a good time with Sierra and Belinda on Sunday afternoon. The weather was beautiful, maybe a little on the cool side. I had found some great locations that I wanted to try and they were willing models. I love the softness of the first two pics of Sierra. I also love the edginess of the third one in the sunshine. I'm not sure how to pull that off exactly though. Any thoughts? Monae? :) I didn't edit it as I wanted to get some feedback on the exposure as-is.

A Milestone Day

This was the scene at our house around noon today. A happy and a sad day. I'm happy for Belinda and very proud of her. At the same time it means my baby is growing up and I no longer have a car. I'm not completely sure how I feel about either one of those things. By the way, Belinda is not crying tears of joy in the first photo, her allergies are just really bad today!

Go dear daughter. Go forth and be successful in all that you do. Go be with your friends. Go work and serve. Go pick up your sister from school. Go get a loaf of bread and a gallon of milk. Go take the dog to the vet. Wait, this really could be a good thing!

Cutie PaTooties in TuTu's!

Mallory

Well, we lost our light pretty quick during this session so I had a lot of great shots that ended up a little blurry. Shutter speed was too slow, should've had a tripod. I'll be trying again this afternoon because the location was great.

The next couple of shots are for my class this week. I needed an example of stop action and blurred action.
