Please let me know what you think. I mean, I already know Brantley is the cutest child on the planet. I want to know what you think about the photos! Suggestions please!
OK. Love the back drop. The first and last photos have great compositions. Great colors. Great job with the photoshop. Very professional. :) The one with her peeking out behind the shutter is fun but it's blurry. I'd increase the shutter speed there to freeze that shot even if lighting were an issue. I'd just fix it later w/ photoshop. :)
I love your family blog! I am so excited that you got a new fun toy for christmas. Okay, I agree with Pei-wen, and the first is also my favorite. I love the color, and the composition. be careful, on a lot of the pictures your focus is falling slightly in front of her on the barn (you can tell if you look at the hinge)instead of on Brantley. Try to focus in the corner of her eye, your camera looks for contrast-like the white of her eye and her skin, when it focuses. If her eyes/face are in focus other things in the picture out of focus won't be as noticable. I love the shutter idea. I would try to prop it up against the barn/fence as straight you could and when you take the picture have only one thing-either the fence or the shutter not straight. does that make sense? If both are crooked in the picture it is a little confusing for my eye. You are definately having fun with your camera and doing a great job. Sorry, this is so long.=O I love any photography talk! We just started our family blog, check it out. I would love your thoughts on my pictures as well. We can learn together!
Ok, you are good! I love the peek-a-boo theme! I like it crooked though, I think it adds something to it. Not just straight. I think you did great and love the COLORS!! You & Monae are great with the lens. ALso, there is a spot on post if you can get on that is an excellent backdrop! We had our pics taken there. It is a brick wall with an old door and fire consummed most of the building but it is still there and VERY STURDY. Looks great with the burn marks on the red brick. You can see some of it in my pics on my post titled "Weren't they Cute" from June 2008. The last one is Gary playing with the door knob from the door. http://swainsrus.blogspot.com/2008/06/werent-they-cute.html If you want I can e-mail you directions, but it makes an awesome backdrop. We even took the Pierce's fam pics out there one year.

So cute - I like the third from the bottom best.
